We have the full list of winners of the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa. This year’s edition of the annual movie awards ceremony happens to be the fourth edition and it keeps getting better year after year. The beautiful award ceremony was held in Accra at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.

As expected, the event was attended by several celebrities and stakeholders in the movie industry. The organisers decided not to sell tickets for this year’s edition so the filmmakers and the various stakeholders could get enough space to attend the event. The organisers gave out free tickets to some film lovers who had to apply via the website of the award scheme.

The Golden Movie Awards Africa is seeking to change the negative narrative of Africa through film and for the first time ever.

The night did not only witness stakeholders in the film industry from Ghana but other parts of Africa, as well as they, had been nominated in various categories. We saw reps from Nigeria, Uganda, Cameroon and even Ivory Coast

This year’s edition was hosted by popular Nigerian comedian AY and actress Joselyn Dumas. The red carpets were hosted by Moesha BuodongJessica Larny and another from Uganda.

The awards ceremony was graced by the likes of  Nikki Samonas, Nana Ama McBrown, Veteran actor Fred Amugi, Nigerian actress Lilian Esoro, Lydia Forson, Vicky Zugah, Salma Mumin, Fiifi Coleman, Jackie Appiah, Cameroon’s Allene Menget, Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Ekow Smith-Asante, Gloria Sarfo, Peter Ritchie, Kafui Danku, Martha Ankomah, Edem, Dblack just to mention a few.
